Wheels falling off dollies

When I go to Sunfish regattas I usually reverse the handle in my Seitech dolly and lash it to my trailer as shown in the photos. However, on two occassions I have had a dolly wheel come off. I found one but not the second $one$. The problem in both cases was the little spring pin that holds the wheel on the axel. They can fall out due to road vibration and then the wheel comes off. The fix was to snug up the ends of the pin with a small cable tie, see photos. No more problem.

I've learned to remove the wheels and pins and store them in my trunk during long drives. The vibration causes them fall out. The same happens sometimes to the wing nuts holding the cross section on the dolly.
