I had my hiking strap attached to the front and rear of inside the cockpit, but the screws would pop out of the front part so I eventually drilled the holes through a block of wood behind the inner lip of the front side of the cockpit and it works great. However, I still have the holes on the lower front side of the cockpit. When I get water in the cockpit, water goes into those holes and gets into the hull. What is the best way to fill in those holes?
