New way to install your hiking strap

Interesting method for installing the hiking strap. Wonder if they used screws or thru bolts.

I would not recommend that method!
Hard to get your feet (quickly) under the strap.

I don't recommend it either. First for Wavedancer's reason, and secondly as it is either not a very solid mounting (if just screwed in) or extremely hard to install (if somehow through-bolted.).

I did buy the boat. Due to rain I have not removed the hiking strap yet to see if is just screws.
