New sails and attachments looking at what would be the best halyards/sheets for the Sunfish. Looking for decent quality that I could use for club races maybe a regatta or two and good pricing. Any suggestions?
Anybody having sales on this stuff and maybe a 57mm Hexarachet?
Intensity Sails is always a good place start for those types of things. They have them packaged as Sunfish-length halyards and mains, and they always have very good cheap offerings from New England Ropes, that are bargains versus the high-end brands (like Rooster) elsewhere.
I usually get their slightly upscale Laser mainsheets and cut them down, since I like a longer sheet, but their $15 stuff is also really good and suits most people well.
I think several suppliers have a sale on Harken supplies in the spring (March, maybe?). I'd agree with minifish2, though - Intensity Sails is always a good option for supplies.
