Buying our family's first Opti and very excited...but not as excited as my 7 year old! Can anyone point me to a place to learn more about Opti's? Is there a forum similar to this one? For instance, how does one determine the age of an Opti from it's sail # or serial #? thanks for any advice.

Thanks for the responses guys, these are interesting sites but there doesn't seem to be anything for opti's like this Laser site. Probably partly due to the age of the sailers. So, I finally emailed the Class Administrator of the U S O D A and he was very responsive and helpful. The hull we're buying is actually a bit newer than the seller thought...a rare but nice surprise.
