Has anyone over here ever heard of a racing sailboat called a Merlin Rocket ?
There aren't many Sunfish over in England & I go back a few times a year and I wanted something interesting to sail while I'm there.
I'm buying a used Merlin Rocket next month with a mate who lives there so we can share the costs.
This particular Rocket is 14' long , with a 7' 3" wide stern ( the widest they are allowed to be , as they aren't allowed to have a trapeze ) and the craftsmanship is unbelievable , it looks like a grand piano and it looks fast too !
I just wondered if anyone here has one , or has sailed one ?

    Cheers,
    Len

'Can't say we have them here, but the UK has a lot of nice small sailboat designs that have made it over here in the past.

..... Yep , that's an early narrow wooden Merlin Rocket , with the "Merlin hat" sail logo.
    ..... Here's our Merlin , NO QUARTER.
..... I hope the pictures are visable , as I've never tried to show any before !
