Hyde Sail v's North Sail

I noticed a discussion about 2 weeks ago on the difference between a Hyde sail and a North sail and it appears the difference is near non-existant. This being the case I have a couple of questions that I hope someone has the answers too:

Could anyonoe explain how to identify the difference between a Hyde Sail and a North Sail (ie: is there a manufacturing number or unique identifier to distinguish who the sail maker was ? - If so where would I find this on the sail ?)

Secondly why is there a difference in price (with the Hyde being more expensive) if the sails are made from near identical cloth and they both meet all the laser class rules for construction ?

Thanks.

For the pricing info, read this thread, the reply by Dave K at Vanguard explains

Thread on Laser Sails

The North Sails manufactured sail will have a small white label just below the Red Laser Class label at the tack stating "Made in Sri Lanka"
