John and I are looking for a cruising sailboat in the 23-26 foot range, so I thought I would ask my Laser friends about it. The trade off is between great sailing and easy launching, with a moderate price. We're not too keen on water ballast. We are considering used Precision, Hunter, or Seaward sailboats. What else is good?

Scott @ the Boathouse knows the Precision line well, though I don't believe he is a dealer any longer.

Lots of cool Catalina boats in that range, Cal 25 could be had for dirt cheap....
I'm no expert on these things though. Learning, but no expert.
