Beginner sailer with Alcort minifish

Wondering basically how to sail. I may seem stupid but I am completely serious. I have tried YouTube videos but mostly they just use a bunch of complicated terms that I don’t understand. Like, main sheet. I honestly am struggling. Thanks In advance
 
Tag’s pamphlet is great! For dinghy sailing, that’s probably all you need to get started.

While it covers more than just the basics and dinghy sailing, I recommend ASA’s 101 book - Sailing Made Easy. It covers everything in the ASA 101 basic sailing course.
