J24 hull number 4803 (year 1991) for sale! She has been leisurely sailed as a school boat part of a reputable sailing school in Jersey City, NJ before I bought her. I am upgrading to a larger boat and unable to keep both.
- sail inventory - 4 main sails and 5 headsails all in decent condition
- running rigging in good condition
- 6 hp johnstone sailmaster engine in great condition with external tank
- bottom painted every 2 years with interlux micron csc
- spring 2020 epoxy primed bottom with interlux interprotect 2000
- summer 2021 installed new hatch, interior painted
- fall 2022 painted boom, rebuilt motor mount, serviced winches
- spring 2023 regelcoated hull, refiberglassed rudder, new running rigging
Pending:
- gelcoat/paint deck (touch up spider cracks)
- new toerails
She is a great looking boat and with a couple more improvements would be in tip top shape. New sails would put her as race ready. She has served me well but unfortunately I am moving up to a larger boat. Taking reasonable offers.
