I'm selling a vintage Alcort Sunfish sail. It's been stored unused indoors for over 20 years, and possibly many more than that. It's Ebay listing 300191014499, found at:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=31281&viewitem=&item=300191014499

If anyone can shed any light on its age, I'd be interested to know.

ct,

Just took a look at your sale on *bay, does it bring back memories. We had a yellow decked Sunfish that came with the same sail (lable is also the same - Ratsey & Lapthorn). Your sail is about 40 years old as the SF we had was a 1969 or 1963 (boat is long gone unfortunatley), I couldn't verify the serial number for the year the SF was made.

Thanks. I'm sorry to see it go really, but glad it will go to someone who can appreciate it.

I never figured out whether the hull was a kit or home built, but I think the latter. Unlike the rest of the parts, it had been stored outside and had rotted throughout.
